The WT troof wasn't for you... but the truth about the truth IS for you!
what are your thoughts about this topic , pros and cons.. smiddy.

China is facing an identity crisis. It's still "communist", with the claim that socialism and communism are the ultimate goal "for the good of the people", yet they are on a seriously aggressive capitalist path. The country is plagued by corruption and inequality. And the pollution over there is absolutely scary.
Right now, the protests in Hong Kong highlight the tension between the people that want a say in the government, while China is trying to maintain the complete authority of the communist party.
from barbara anderson, former watchtower headquarters researcher and writer, on another recent thread:.
it is expected that at the 2014 annual meeting, usually held the first saturday in october, will serve watchtower leaders well to cover-up all the 100-years of prophetic nonsense.
rumor has it they are going to celebrate their 100-years of announcing the kingdom in an adroit way by featuring a move of "great" significance to do with the expansion of the governing body to an "apostolic" 12 or some other fantasy idea.. .
They will announce that since we are in the last seconds of the last minutes of the last days, all JWs should liquidate their assets and donate all the cash to WT in order for the GB to... you know... "advance kingdom interests".
i stumbled upon this website a few weeks ago due to the jw.org ridiculousness, since then i haven't been able to pull myself away.
the thoughts, feelings, and concerns i have had the past few years aren't just mine.
it's global.
Welcome!
You can expect various feelings of awakening, uncertainty, grief, anger, regret, and mourning, among a flood of emotions. You've already gotten a lot of great posts here to reflect on. If you're interested, here are links to some of my suggestions:

joe, sorry, you'll have to eat some humble pie.. .
thank you so much for the poster on extj.com who sent these pics!!
can't have been better!!.
JWs in Malawi were beaten, raped, and killed because WT told them not to get a little card from the government. There was no compromise when the very lives of people were on the line.
However, when it's some cash out of the pocket of WT, they are fully prepared to do whatever the government tells them.
It's proof positive that the organizational "Mother" has zero reliance on Sky-Daddy. She loves her $ugar-Daddy!
i've been having some medical issues recently and had to check into the emgerceny hospital.
when they admitted me the registar asked my mother my religion.
she told them jehovah's witness.
Hortensia: "Billy -- When will you and others on this forum stop sneering at janitors and window-washers?"
I'm not sneering at janitors... as long as they aren't pretending to be "God's chosen channel". This is a sneer at Tony Morris, in particular. Don't forget that this former janitor is now making life and death decisions for millions of JWs. Not only have I heard his Vietnam to janitor to CO to GB story too many times, I've heard him sneering at those of us who return to get "higher education" for being faithless and wasting time. For that matter, I've heard JW experiences of how pre-med students have dropped out of university in order to join the ranks of janitor and window-washer pioneers. In my previous congregation, there were sheeples barely on speaking terms since they were battling over cleaning accounts. I might hire them to do cleaning, but I won't hand them a scalpel and ask them to do surgery on me. Yet the lives and minds of some of my own family members are captive to, well, literally, janitors.
"There are other ways to say that you feel the JWs are unqualified to offer medical advice, better ways than cheap shots at hard-working people."
Don't like my humor? Show the better ways by writing your own jokes and PhotoShop pictures yourself. I'll even help get you started: You might have the elder coming in to offer the exJW hospital patient scriptural encouragement or a discount on Trimline pinstriping, but that is a dated reference. I don't know if any JWs are in the Trimline business anymore.
Or if you want to ban humor and make this a place where every poster simply states, "I don't feel that JWs are qualified to offer medical advice," fine. Just brick up the windows and install some interior decorations from the 90s and we'll all be right back in WT drone world restyled as exJW drone world.
Geez, this is like coming and finding my JW mom waiting here to scold me in front of my friends for being a goof-off.
Off topic - Billy -- When will you learn to never, ever come here when you've had a sucky day and are in a rotten mood?

Sounds like what the GB still believe. They just don't say it out loud where it can be recorded anymore.

even though watchtower's application has been rejected, they will be allowed to use the logo because it is for religious usage and will not be confused with commercial products.. the trademark office did note this:.
indeed, numerous other marks are registered reflecting the letters j and w:.
JW = Janitor's World
I love it!
I absolutely LOVE it!
The best I could come up with for JW.org was jerk wad dot org. Janitor's World dot org is absolute perfection.
everyone knows i have been playing this dating game, and what a fun game it has been.
i have met a few nice guys but remained strictly platonic, and also met some really pushy guys too that just wanted sex.. i have not met mr right yet, but who knows what the platonic guys could evolve into.. it's all a game and anyone who says they don't play games when dating is lying.
does a man always have to make the first move?.
"Does a man always have to make the first move?"
That's kinda where the online dating differs from real world contact. Although the guy is expected to make the first move in real world situations, the woman can send plenty of signals beforehand to indicate his chances of success. Online is different. I don't have the experience to have much input on the subject, but I would think that if a woman only posted her profile and sat back waiting for the right person to contact her, or just chatted until a guy asked her to meet, she might be missing out on some great opportunities.
i thought it was high time to introduce myself (without my name of course).
as my name would suggest i have been reading your intriguing post, thoughts and discussions for some time now.
around 3/4 months to be exact.. i guess to start with it would seem fitting to give a little background on my current situation.. i'm a born-in, but have over the last few years found that through a number of varying occurences, (some of which i may discuss in future posts) that my 'zeal' has gone from regular field service and meetings to no service in over a year and very sporadic meeting attendance.
Welcome!
